Very pleased with the service provided by Viking Surveyors, this is our first home purchase and they were more than happy to talk us through what is required and covered. The cost of the surveyor was affordable and was completed in a timely manner as well as receiving the report post survey. On the day of the survey taking place, our surveyor rang us after to unfortunately inform us that there are concerns with the property and to not spend out any further costs until receiving the report, which although in an unfortunate circumstances, it showed the companies customer centricity. As advised we have withdrawn our offer and look forward to using Vikings again once we have found a new property.

I instructed Viking Surveyors recently to do a homebuyer report on a 2009 built terrace house I am buying. As first time buyer, I am rather nervous but Alex immediately put me at ease. He was helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly, really responsive. Although Viking Surveyors is a relatively new company, I was reassured by the fact that Alex Mason, its CEO and Principal Surveyor, and also the one who did the actual survey, was head of operations at a large firm for many years before starting his own business (which charges much more affordable fees). Alex was flexible with his availability and was accommodating of our requests to meet him at the property so we can have another look at it at the same time. I received the report 2/3 days after the inspection just as Alex promised, together with a suite of photos he had taken. I subsequently had a call with Alex to go through the report, which was really helpful to contextualise the findings. More importantly, Alex was keen to stress that I can call him if we have any further questions. All in all, I felt that Alex is a highly experienced surveyor who went above and beyond in his customer service.

The team at Viking Surveyors went above and beyond for me.  I had the displeasure of having to deal with a government agency (Help to Buy) for my re-mortgage and if it wasn’t for Phoebe, Ashely and the team at Viking I would never have got it over the line.  They were pragmatic, helpful, understanding and compassionate.  I am so grateful to them.  Most businesses would have done their bit and left me to fight my corner with Help to Buy, but Viking stood shoulder to shoulder with me throughout the process, even when their bit was complete.  Highly recommend!
